Confirmed, this is a phishing text. DO NOT RESPOND TO IT! Contact your card provider directly if you ever get these types of texts.
Using this number to perpetrate a scam.
Sent a text message saying Call 8884060996 #13505 Your #CARD has been LOCKED! #4212vJzl CALL NOW! I suspect this is a ruse to get your personal information to steal it
Several calls received from 888-406-0996 to both my husband's phone and mine that our bank cards are locked up, including the same #96692 extension number to ask for when returning the call. We did not return the call, I called our bank and it was not generated by them. Reported as spam on my smart phone, blocked as "restricted" on my husband's flip phone.
