SCAM - claiming to be from TRUIST
Attempted to call me twice without leaving voice mail message
Left a message to call the 800 number stating that I tried to make a payment and wanted to check if I had. I did not return the call.
I got a text message from this number claiming to be Truist Fraud Protection. But it is not the number on my credit card. So I did not call it.
Scam claiming to be for Truist
800-229-1462 is used in a combined attack on your account that is making fraudulent transactions. Posing as your bank to try to extract personal information. To perpetrate more fraud on other accounts.
Spam message with heavy accented rep wanting card number due to fraudulent activity on my truist account. would not identify themselves.
Receiving unwanted or harrassing calls from (800) 229-1462? Report It! You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective.
