Left a very suspicious message saying a file was being prepared and I would need to be available to sign for it and if not they would go to my place of employment and proof of efforts to contact me have been made...blah blah blah! Just ridiculous! Where are the laws to protect American citizens against these scam artists?
Not sure what this call is about other than trying to locate my ex-husband that I have not had contact with in almost 40 years! When I called back all they told me was they would take my number off his contact list. I think it is a debt collector but since they would not tell me anything, I'm not sure.
