This number calls and leaves a recorded message that it’s from Microsoft Technical Support. The company is closing and has a refund. My Dad doesn’t have any technical support. Thus is the second time it’s happened

BEWARE illegal bad robo scam 888-919-6138
The person told me he was with Microsoft refund dept and I was eligible for a refund. I asked where he was calling from, clearly not us and he said Ohio and I said can you provide your name he said John and told me to go to my computer and I laughed and he said something obscene to me.
Claimed I was due a refund from Microsoft, wanted access to my bank account, wiped out some of my files when I would not give it to them.
They wiped out my pictures in an attempt to get me to log into my bank account, am having to restore some files.
Have had at least 2 calls from these scammers, claim that Microsoft owes me money. Messages on my answering machine, I screen all calls anymore. They Give a # to call - didn't call but when I checked others reported that the calls are coming from India.
