This number is used by Scammers who identify themselves as Microsoft employees refunding money for a computer tech support business gone out of business. They ask you to turn your computer on so they can transfer money to your account. Over pay you, then explain the cheapest way to refund them and ask you not to say anything to anyone. On my way out the door I searched the web and found out that it was a scam! I went back to my computer and shut everything down. They called me immediately, and I told the I found out that this was a scam! Went to my bank and to.d them every thing! They froze my accounts! They checked my accounts and found out that the transfer was out of my savings...not Microsoft! While I was out they called my phone over and over. I guess they were upset that I didn't give them my $4,500.00, so they trashed my new computer. Can't believe I fell for it, but I didn't loose a Penney!
