They keep calling my husband and my phone stating that I have an old debt for a credit card over 10 years ago and they are going to take legal action against me, take me to court for a lawsuit and put a lean on property. When I tell them I know that they are fraudulent they get hostile
Call came in as a private number, but my v.m. gave me the number (866-609-4828) that they called from. They left a different number to call back (888-486-7174) and stated it was in regard to a legal investigation and that if a call was not returned, they would pursue further legal action. Multiple searches have all pinpointed this as a scam. I called the original number back and the guy that answered said, "Litigation". I demanded the company name and was given Hammond Legal.
