I can’t figure out whether or not this IS a scam, but I do know that they’ve sent me a letter in the mail at my address in Florida, asking me to call this number in reference to nearly $8,000 in “tax debt†that I owe the state of California...from 2003...when I was a mere 7 years old.
Something is off about this situation, so I came here to look up any other reports made by other people. I guess I’m the first, so I just ask that anyone who receives something similar stay weary.
