Represented themselves as Citibank fraud investigators. Wanted me to help them with a sting operation to catch a person they said fraudulently had charged $900 to my Citibank card. They were going to call me today with details on how to proceed. I would need to go to a Citibank and withdraw $5,000 they were going to put on my card then I’m sure you know the rest of the story. I played along, then when I got off the phone I call the real Citibank fraud department and canceled my card.
