Illegal scam trying to blackmail with false claims
Claimed to be a “legal department “ to deliver documents.
Claimed a complaint had been filed with their office for a family member. Never identified themself or the company. Callback number was this one but originated from a different number.
Claimed to be calling about a complaint received for my adult daughter by name. This is the second time I\'ve received it.
I\'ve blocked the number.
Claimed to be the “legal department” for an unidentified firm, claiming to serve legal papers.
Called me saying my dad had a complaint against him. He does not live with me and has a different number. But the conversation seemed very scammy to me. They didn’t tell me who they were with either. Gave me a different number to call also.
They called from a 775 number and wanted me to tell my daughter to call the 877 number. I tried calling and no answer.
