Very long questions about internet and broadcast networks
877-618-7711 is from Numeris. A survey company for TV/Radio advertizers. They are soliciting for your viewing habits. I don't care to wear an electronic collar so they can gather information on what TV channels I watch, what radio station I heard while driving or while shopping in the mall. So I'll just block them. Of course then, Canadians will continue to end up with dumbed down American style TV shows which very few of us watch anyway., Since Americans are so vocal, those shows will continue to overflow into Canada, so it's your call. Keep in mind, broadcast TV signals are going away soon. It's pay-per-view already if you stream video since you pay for internet, but soon, there will be no free options. Aside from two (2) programs the wife watches per week, there's nothing to watch on "the idiot box" - how Television was described in the 1960's. "Rumble", "The Why Files" and Jimmy on "Bright Insight" all the way! Educational entertainment. That kinda makes Numeris obsolete.

I did not answer, as it shows up as Spam in my caller ID. Phoned twice a day for 3 days, up to now. I suspect it is related to a survey by Numeris. I will block the number.
