Suspicious. I received a call from Wellcare on tel # 978 622 0589. I did not answer because of the number that called. A women left a msg to call 877 612 8332 about my medication. I decided to look the number up first because I was suspect on the number that called and I did not call them with a medication question. The number was listed here as a scam.
I continue to receive calls/voicemails telling me to call 877-612-8332 to talk with "Wellcare" concerning my prescriptions and refills. This occurs about every 7 - 10 days and I have been getting them for about 2 1/2 months. Everything I can find online suggests THIS IS A SCAM!
It's an insurance scam. An automated voice asks you for your date of birth. Then it asks you for your FULL policy number. It also says it will wait if you need to get it. Right then and there I hung up. If they're calling me from the insurance company they must already have it and I'm not giving it to a voice over the telephone I don't know.
