Someone named Anthony Brown called me and said I owe over $9000 for a credit card debt and attorney fees and they are suing me. He said I owe this debt from 2003. That’s21years ahi and I did not have any credit cards then. He said they sent a settlement offer for some $4500 and offered to settle right now over the phone for $2900. I told he to send proof of the debt and he said he won’t send anything so I told he I won’t send him anything either. These people are BS.
They called and said a process server tried to serve papers but was denied. No one came to our house to serve papers. Sai to call this number and talk to Jackie Smith with a case #. Said my husband was being sued over a repoed car from 15 years ago. When I tried calling back to get the law firms name they put me on hold and never answered the call.
They had my maiden name and married name, but said process server documents were sent back to their office because they did not have current address. Fake debt collectors.
Called claiming they needed current address because process servers did not have a current address. Attempting to collect a debt on an account that does not exist. Got mad when I told him there was no such credit card, and put me on hold. After 5 minutes I just hung up. He never called back.
