I am calling to follow up on a complaint filed against you with reference number 48x-xxxx. to get a copy of the complaint or of this cost depending action taken, you can respond to the legal department at 877-310-5124. Contact us immediately to avoid any further action.

When i called the number, they said I was in breach of contract with Americredit with GM Financial for $10,000. I told them I never had a contract with this credit company nor GM. She went on to say that someone would be delivering the letter to my address.
The caller also called my ex-husband and left the same message. I reported this number to the Federal Trade Commission. Called Americredit and I was not in the system.

Got a call from a local area number and basically this message in broken English, “Hi Goody, this is Martin calling to follow up How to complaint filed in our office against (my name) complaint number 49____ To get a copy of the complaint or discussed, depending action being filed You can respond to the legal department 877 310-5124 Toxic will need to be made immediately so avoid for action against you…” My husband also received a voicemail from same number/person saying same thing and “p**s the message”.

They don’t say who they are, and they are at the point of har**sing.
