Just got an email listing it as CHASE disabling my online acct and I should update my account. Check with Chase and it is fraud! DO NOT RETURN THIS PHINE CALL!
Call stating Amazon purchase, if not made call 866-491-3534
They sent an email claiming that my credit card account was locked due to unusual activity. A call to S/W confirmed that the account was ok and not locked. Asked S/W to verify that number and was put on hold. Some how another person picked up the line and asked to help. They wanted me to change my p**sword and provided me with a temporary number, which after 5 minutes I could convert to a new one of my choice. Naturally, I disregarded their request and to be safe called S/W and requested to new cards. Another Scam!!!’
They sent an Email to me and said It was from Chase and they wanted my Bank information!!! After I called Chase from my bank app and Asked about the Email I received and number on the email Chase bank said it was not them and that it was a Scam !
