Scam call about taxes. would be nice if all of you who got the call or message would have time and call back 866-918-1918 and call them SCAMMERS !!!
Barbara IDed herself (AI?) as representing Tax Solutions Center by leaving a message on my cell phone. The number of "TSC" was given as 1-862-355-5226 (...toll free number). The message left was unsolicited — a sales pitch or scam. The caller left the message to call 866-918-1918 for more information from her personally. I plan to seek further information from VITA) and TCE in New Jersey as an investigative journalist who tracked down one of the "Nigerian Scammers" to a telecommunications company in the Middle East several years ago.

Left urgent message claiming to need to talk to me about tax debt [which I do not have]. The number on the ID, (260) 299-0542, was different than the call back number. That number also comes back as a scam when I did a search.
They called about tax debt, which we did not have. The way it was explained to me is that if you owe on taxes after you file, it is public record. But, apparently they don't see where you've paid it, just that you owed it. Since we had already paid, they stated disregard.
