Scam saying I purchased that same amount on Amazon. Freaked me out at first enough for me to check my Amazon account to see.
You receive a spam call from a local phone number and the automated voice: "This is from Amazon customer support this is to notify you regarding your today's purchase on Amazon.com you have been charged $1279.99 on your default card saved on Amazon.com if you have made this purchase on Amazon.com and recognize it then simply hang up the call and your order will be delivered to your address in two to three days however if you have not made any such transaction you then immediately call Amazon billing and front prevention department on the toll free number which is 866-579-1966 again the number is 866 579-1966."

I think it is a scam. Says it is from Amazon, but reverse lookup shows otherwise.
I got an email from Annie Hil claiming my Norton Pack automatically was renewed for $239.69 on my debit card. I don't have Norton, haven't had it for over 10 years and I don't have a debt card (debt is what she called it).
At the bottom of the email; "If you wish to stop subscription and ask for a Refund then please feel free to call our Refund & Settlement Dept. as soon as possible." with the phone number; 866-579-1966. It's phishing for your debit card number. If you need to call Norton, go to their official website for the number.
Received an email about renewal of a Norton Account. I have a Lifelock account under a different email renews at a diiferent time.. Said was going to do a direct debit of amount over 200. I have not given any bank information. This was the number to call for a refund. I did not call it.
