Same as everyone else - credit/debit card locked. Why anyone would call and enter in their information rather than just calling their bank is beyond me, but someone must be falling for it if they keep doing it.
***(Call 8665241666 Now! 611#) Your Debit.Card have been locked! Account-ID:(Your cell phone number)!*** Called the number provided from a landline, it requests your 26 digit credit card number (I don't really know which one, lol). I pressed 16 random numbers, and the "automated" system tell me that numbers are not recognized. IT'S A SCAM PEOPLE, DONT PUT YOUR ACTUAL CARD INFO if calling.

Received a text message from this number that my card was locked and it used my cell number as an account number. I knew it was a scam!
Received text message that credit card was look, giving only this call back 866 number and my cellphone number as an access code. But then when called only asked me to enter a card number without indicating even who they were.

You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective. If there is something requiring an immediate attention, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
