Got a scam text telling me to call this number: B,0f,A: Payment Alerts: Your card was used on 05/11/23 13:27:38 EST for $1187.25, if you do not recognise this transaction contact us on +18663241548
FRAUD ALERT - We received a text with this message: B, OF, A: Payment Alerts: Your card was used on 05/11/23 13:19:47 EST for $1424.40, if you do not recognise this transaction contact us on +18663241548. This seemed suspicious, so we called this number, and there was a strange computer voice, that did not sound legit, and it said it was the Bank of America. Since we do not have a Bank of America account or credit card or anything, we knew this was a fake number trying to trick us to call them and give them our banking information. We did not, of course, but want others to be aware this is not a legitimate number for Bank of America.
