I wanted to buy a camper and was also told to buy cards. I contacted ebay directly and they said it’s a Scam. The items was never listed on eBay. Stay away from these deals. Buy directly from eBay.com and you should be safe.

ok I was interested in buying a golf cart, seller says its through ebay and was selling it cheap. sob story added. Told her I thought it may be too good to be true. ok I agreed and gave no personal info except name and email. Said ebay would not give her money until item was delivered to house and test driven 5 days and then I could decide. She gave me phone # to verify this and this is the number she gave me. I am leery now about sending payment. Think I will back off. This is not an Ebay number. Said no money would be paid until I accepted the offer. Think now this could be a scam. Yes, too good to be true. Anyone have any ideas please? I am not doing this now.
EBay scammers. I’m trying to buy a boat listed on Craigslist. They want me to purchase $1400.00/worth of EBay gift cards then call them with the PIN numbers on the back of the cards. Once that’s done, they will ship the boat to me.
They may be part of a scam using EBay and EBay cards
