After receiving a text on my cell phone I called from a landline to verify this number, and the person claimed to be from Apple. When I asked how I could verify this is a legitimate number they claimed there was no way to verify, but they were in Seattle, WA. When I looked the number up online it said it was a T-mobile number from LaJolla, CA. I asked about this and was told this is the City that Apple is headquartered in. This is not true. He wanted my AppleID to start. The text I received on my cell said my appleID was used to make purchases at Macy's and to call to verify. Reporting number as fraud. I could hear other people in the background, like a call center.
