My sister-in-law received a notice that looked like it was from Wells Fargo regarding bank accounts for my deceased mother. She called the number and they wanted social security number for my mother which she couldn't supply so contacted me. I thought it was fraudulent because we transferred everything out of her name when she went into a nursing home for dementia and because my mother had a common name and as such always used her middle initial on all banking documents which was not included on this letter. I did some digging and found the url they provided for estate care and management doesn't exist (you get a 404 error). Just another way to try and scam people.
