I recieved a voicemail without a phone number present saying that I had a summons to appear in court. I called the number back with the case number given to me. The case number was under the name Pride(not my name). I told them that this is not my name. The rude person asked for my name and told me that I was being sued for a credit account opened in 2010 with the bank HSBC. I know for a fact I do not have an account with this bank and know what credit card I opened that year and closed in good standing. I do keep up with my credit report at least 4 times a year since 2008. When I asked what card it was he gives me a bunch of numbers I never heard of. That was not answering my question. I asked again. then he accuses me of refusing to pay the balance which he never told me what it was and said I will have to take it to court and hung up. when I looked up the name of the company they claimed to be(Armstrong Legal Services it was an immigration firm and the number for it was not the number I was asked to call in the voicemail. The person on the voicemail will claim to be part of your region or county but will give you a not local number. I called back and told them they will be reported to the police.
