Caller claimed to be a legal representative and stated they had been trying to serve a summons, to appear in court. I called the Clerk’s office and there was nothing. It is a SCAM! REPORT THEM!!!
I just received a phone call from a private number from someone claiming I rejected legal documents, and they advised me to contact this number. I am not involved in any legal proceedings. They asked me to call this number and give them a case number.
pretending to deliver legal documents also said I had a failure to appear - which they should have the info if they are "legal" documents so pretty odd but wanted me to call the number and give them case number ASAP odd..
People from this number call and har**s me every year about a bogus credit card account that I went delinquent on. I have never defaulted on a credit card. They claim that they are going to take me to court. When I asked about the credit card I supposedly defaulted on - they say it is from 2007 (15 years ago!!!!) Watch out - they will try to get you to pay with the threat of taking you to court!

You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective. If there is something requiring an immediate attention, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
