I received 3 calls back to back. After disconnecting 3 times without answering, I answered the 4th. A woman with an Indian/Pakastani accent told me she was calling with an alert from Experian, saying that someone in Texas had used my SSN to open up a credit card account at Union Bank. I have an Experian account through which I receive emails warning about fraud risks, but I have never received a phone call. She could not tell me what my SSN is and became belligerent when I questioned her.
