Rec'd text from this #,stating “Security Check: Did you or another user authorize a donation for $50 on or around 4/22/24 to BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT? Reply YES or NO. Stop to End” I didn't respond and BLOCKED calling number.

“Security check” text asking if I had made a recent political donation. I did not reply tot he text. Very suspicious.

Received this suspicious txt today:

“Security Check: Did you or another user authorize a donation for $25 on or around 6/29/24 to BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT? Reply YES or NO.

Stop to End”

I mistakenly replied: ‘WHO is this?’ After realizing it, I BLOCKED this caller on my iPhone.

Said security check, asking if I donated 20 dollars to Biden campaign. I am not a Democrat.

Aug 1, 2024: Unidentified source (855) 486-9064 asked about political campaign donation dated May 2024. Query asked for Yes / No reply. Instead replied STOP then blocked number. SPAM! Any legitimate campaign finance operation must accurately record donation data on date of donation to meet state and/or federal laws.
