Git an email Telling me i ordered Microsoft defender for $399 and to call this number if I did not place the order. The email was Microsoftxxxxx@gmail.com so obviously fraud. Beware!

Received an Invoice from Microsoft for $399.00. Had Customer Care # 845-813-2103 listed to call if problems Called it and got foreign speaking lady who had me go to Microsoft Icon and click on all these boxes to show me how I cancel our account. We DON'T have to pay for Microsoft it came with the computer. She was trying to get me to let her sign into my computer so she could take it over and control it.

Number is used on scam email for Microsoft Defender annual update and charge of $399.00.

Complete fraud. Whoever owns this number deserves to die

Did not order anything from this number or company, it just showed up in my mailbox

Told me I purchased a renewal for Microsoft renewal for 1 year for $399.00 and to call this number+1 (845) 813-2103 to cancel subscription! Lol

Listed as the number to call to get a refund from Microsoft for a product I did not purchase. Looks like a scam.

Says it’s Microsoft but the telephone number and email don’t match Microsoft

I received 2 emails today January 12, 2022 stating my Microsoft Defender Protection subscription had been renewed for $399 and to call 845-813-2103 if I have questions or if I want to cancel the subscription. I checked my Microsoft account and found no such subscription. I believe this is a scam for people to call and give their personal information.

Scam! Just delete the email you got and don't call the number.

SCAM INVOICE for MS Windows Defender.

Scam Windows Defender Email 1/10/2022. This is being used for credential harvesting . The malicious actors answer the line. They ask to install various apps that include Moonpay (Crypto to obtain Bitcoin payment) They ask for ID (driver license) to potentially open moon pay account with. The actors also install anydesk remote software to have persistence. They negotiate and say that they are reversing charges that do not exists for windows defender. The callers are also have an Indian and or middle eastern accent posing as Microsoft representatives.
