This person called saying they were HP support when I was setting up a new printer and they scammed me and I’m usually very on it with that kind of thing.
But they got me. I got a call right when I was trying to connect it to my computer desktop because it was a wireless printer and I get a phone call saying this is Alex from HP support I see you’re having trouble connecting your computer I can help you and I just didn’t think it was possible that it was a scam until 17 something happened and I realize this probably wasn’t legitimate but they didn’t get any money but worse I let them on my computer so I don’t know what they got really.
I ended up falling down 14 stairs that night and breaking my hip. I am now losing weight and I think I am dying so he might be the reason why I am really sick.
I was contacted by a foreign man who said he could help me connect new printer to my Mac desktop and needed to share access with my computer. I allowed it and he said he had never seen the type of problem and was going to have a senior agent help. I watched my desktop and my apps a scrolling down and then it came to my initial log in and required me to resubmit which was when the already red flag I had been feeling made me realize that I had probably been scammed. I tried calling him back but no response. Please advise if you can. Thanks for your **sistance. Jamie Neill
