Mortgage collection scam
Received blue postcard concerning a loan that we don't have, but the card had a loan number on it. Wanted me to call about time sensitive matter. Small print says they are not affiliated with my bank. Did not call.
I received a blue post card stating concerning my mortgage. I checked this phone number with the mortgage company's numbers and none matched. Just the fact that it came on a blue post card immediately set off an alarm. Do not call this number.
I think it’s a scam. Came on a blue postcard in the mail. No information about the company other than HWC and the phone number. Blank on the reverse side.
Received a yellow card in the mail. It said regarding a recently closed mortgage recorded on January 31 2021 “we need you to call about an important matter concerning this loan. All a lie. I have done nothing on my my mortgage in years. They also referred to mortgage ID #20223-368-788. Also says IMPORTANT NOTICE IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED!
No identification, no business name, no information at all about them, just said to call number for time sensitive information about my home loan. I think it is just spam.
