Got a call from this number 844-793-3999, and the caller was claiming to be from generic sounding Tech company offering some type of refund or credit. Caller tries to explain that they need to "remote connect" to my computer and have me access my online banking in order to issue the refund. Tried to get more information about this supposed caller and his "company" and caller gave generic/missing information about himself and company. Report them to the government agencies such FTC.gov and FCC.gov complaint sites for the scam. Also report and post their callerID numbers these fraudsters use on this platform and similar ones to help warn others of these scams, most likely a toll number line or Google Voice number that was setup for their scams.
