I had same experience. Supposedly an order from Amazon. I did not respond. SCAM/FRAUD.
I didn't phone them. Received an email saying that our item had been shipped, we had not ordered anything! I contacted Amazon online, not the phone number listed on the email, and was told that they had no order being shipped and did not send an email. This was a phishing expedition and this phish didn't bite.
