They already called me a few times and I engaged with them, trying to figure out what exactly the "lawsuit" is for, but they won't tell me. They should know if they are the ones filing it. The best thing to do is file with the FCC. This will not stop unless all of us do it. I said a few choice words with them and told them to stop calling and trying to scam people and told them to get a real job and life. Next time they call, I will give them the number of our police station and tell them that is my lawyers number! I'll waste their time as much as can. No law firm will call where they all sound like they are calling from overseas, you can just tell. When you can hear a ton of people in the background, it is not legit. Lawyers and such have their own private offices. I have also watched documentaries about these scams and most of them, are calling from 3,000 miles away in some poor shitty country. Do not fall for it.
The caller said his name was David and ask me by name wanted to know who my attorney was. I said what for, David said it was for a lawsuit. When I asked who he was he stated he was from a law firm and that I will be getting a summons. David said he will be call again tomorrow on the court case and rattled off a bunch of numbers. Daves voice sounded from India. I told David your probably from New Delhi and you're trying to scam me, David then hung up on me.
I received a call from 844-584-4373. I did not answer it. The voicemail that I was left reads as follows: This message is intended for .... The very second you receive this message, I need you or your attorney of record to return my call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Paul Jones and the hotline to my division is 844-584-4373. Don't disregard this message. Return the call now, if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either. The only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Goodby and best of luck.
I don't think I'll be answering this because this is actually the first time that they've actually tried to contact me and they did not state who they represent.
