Sent me a message that they were removing money from my charge to pay my account in auto pay. I do not have auto pay and they wrote a ridiculous request letter and incorrect heading.

My mother (83) called this number after "googling" Spectrum to "fix" her tv. A guy there said she had hackers on her device and needed a new IP address. He dialed into her computer and added programs. He told her he could "fix her up with a firewall for anti-hacking but it would cost her at least $200. When she said she didn't have that much, he told her that since she was a "prime" customer, maybe he could give her a discount and that if she wanted to call back she should only speak to him and provided his extension. When you look up this number it says Spectrum, but beware of the wolves out there that pretend they are looking out for your best interest!! All she needed was new batteries in her TV remote!!!
