Scam - was going to buy a vehicle, saw on Facebook marketplace then they said they were using ebay motors and for protection asked me to put the money on a gift card, verified through ebay this was not a legitimate sale.
Scam artist ( facebook market place they pose to be a private car sells person beat me out of $800 dollars putting the money on a gift card .They use eBay protection buyers guide paper work through email to seal the deal. They keep the price low so that some person would buy the car thinking that it is the real deal.
