This person calls himself Brian, and wants to send me a cashier's check for $50 more than I asked for some car parts. Then he wants someone to pick them up. I had listed them as cash only, and pickup in person. I replied I thought it was a scam and never received answers to my questions or any other communication. I am in Utah, this number is in Texas.

i think this is a scammer that is trying to p**s off fake cashier checks on internet action sites and connected to another number 302 503 4996. may not be but someone should check into this.
