Got a phone call from a cell number in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Before I could answer it cut off and went to voicemail. This is the message she left, copied from the transcript.
“Hello this is Krista calling from my office _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _â _ to do an address verification today please contact the issuing agents office at 816-883-6779 or you may use your phone number as a reference number through their automated system once again their number is 816-883-6779…â€
It sounded like she said the company was EMI. But I couldn’t understand it very well.
My voicemail was the same as stated by the previous reporter.
A voicemail stating to call this number because they needed to verify my address. The voicemail stated she was calling from and it sounded like she said MIR Office.
Had a voicemail stating to call this number because they needed to verify my address. It asked me to verify the last two of my ssn. Of course I did not, I ended the call. The voicemail stated she was calling from and it sounded like she said MIR Office, but it was hard to understand.
Got a call from a different number leaving a vm to call this number back: 816-883-6779. When I called they said some loan place was looking to serve me papers and sue me over 5000. This is obv a scam do not give these people any information over the phone. They wanted to verify my address and get other info...
SCAM FIRST CALLED AND WANTED TO KNOW TO MUCH INFO FOR ONLY AN ADDRESS VERIFICATION. WHEN I ASKED WHY WHO THEY WERE THEY BECAME VERY DEFENSIVE. THEY SEEM TO BE SOME KIND COLLECTION AGENCY. THEY DID SAY A PROCESS SERVER TRIED TO SERVE ME..BULLSHIT!
