My wife got a little flip phone from an AT&T phone store. It was set up at the store for her by a salesman. When she would check her voice message, there would be strange messages. Usually a doctors office reminder for an appointment, or an elderly man leaving a message for "Rick". We thought people were getting the wrong number and calling her by mistake. I finally checked her phone and I found that the preset Voice Mail number hidden in settings was 816-225-0010. That is not our area code and it is not possible to make a mistake dialing the rest of the number and end up with hers. I only checked the number to see who it belonged to. I'm wondering if it is some AT&T employee compromising peoples phones somehow.
