Claims to be Wells Fargo - want account number to reactivate account - scam - turned over SD Attorney General
Got a text saying it was from Wells Fargo about a blocked account ... but I don't have a Wells Fargo account.
Wells Fargo text scam telling me to call this number. Lol ok on a Sunday evening for a bank based in California let me go right a head oh I forgot I don’t even have a account with Wells Fargo hmmm guess I won’t call
This is fraud. It says your debit card is locked. and to reactivate press 1
Text messages received, telling me to call this number because my Wells Fargo debit card gad been blocked. No way was I calling the number and I deleted the message - then dud a reverse phone number lookup to see that the number is a landline in PA.
said they were my bank and tried to get me to click on a phony link.
Somehow managed to get my text number claiming to be with wells Fargo bank since I have no account with wells Fargo this has to be a scam I
