This is a scam received form this telephone number. I Received the following voicemail on 03-06-2025 at 8:45 AM. It originated out of Richland, IN, according to my voicemail information. The caller, Amber, stated: “Hi this is Amber Williams from the resolution department at Pinecrest financial services group an urgent alert just came across my desk regarding your missed or past due filings, possible outstanding taxes and other financial obligations with new relief options now in effect including the offering compromise program potential reduction hardship loans and penalty waivers or elimination these matters our time sensitive deadlines are quickly approaching and I want to ensure you have the chance to address any issues before it's too late if left and resolved penalties collections or other enforcement actions could follow but a simple call might help you take control of the situation I have immediate access to review your file and confirm possible resolution you just need to call me at 866-482-7971 and reference code DV81T4W6Q I'll be in the office until 7 PM EST again please call me right away at 866-482-7971 if you wish to opt out please call back the number on your caller ID…”. First off for me I do not have any missed or past due financial obligations as implied by the voice mail. I did a web search for Pinecrest Financial and found their web page. According to the PinecrestFinancial.com web page Contact Information page, URL https://www.pinecrestfinancial.com/contact/, I can send a message. I did not send a message on account of the voicemail being suspicious.
