Received an email saying it was from Amazon: “Thank you for shopping with us. You have ordered the iPad Pro 12.9 inch 512 GB Wifi amount due: $1,402.92 In-case you require any change in order or like to cancel we recommend giving us call immediately at 1-808-204-8082” also gave a address of a person in NYC that I’ve never heard of & I’m in Pa!!

Never ordered an iPad from Amazon. Be careful these idiots don’t care who they scam. I feel for the elders who may not understand what’s going on.

I received an email saying I just purchased an iPad. When I called the number, they asked me for my name and email address which I wasn’t comfortable giving to them. When I questioned why they needed it, the person started saying racial slurs. I disconnected the call. Sounded like an Indian accent.

Claims that Amazon account got hacked. And wants your account info to steal your money

They are trying to say they are Amazon call up because they have a $5000 order for me and they need to verify my account
