I received a suspect postcard in the mail saying I had an unclaimed gift of $250 in reward dollars - being held at our main processing center with no name or address of the business at all just a claim number. Telling me to call and claim it now at 1-800-918-1461 Since this looked very shady I tried doing a search on the number but could not gain any info. On the back of the postcard it says sponsored by privacy patrol and check the website for terms and conditions - but no website address is given. I will not pursue this. I think it is a scam to collect personal information on anyone who calls. Probably asking for your banking information to do a cash transfer or your credit card info to apply a credit to it. Or possibly they are selling stuff and say well we will apply the $250 to your purchase and you pay the difference - when what you would be paying is the actual price of whatever it is and there really is no credit applied at all.
