Company refuses to close senior account holder status account. Went into branch off Maryland Pkwy in Las Vegas, NV to do so. Representative refused and charged my account until it went into negative balance status.

Pursuant to 47 U.S. Code § 227(a)-(b) – Restrictions on use of automated telephone equipment, this was an illegal call in that I have never had a personal or business relationship with Wells Fargo. Robo message regarded fraudulent account activity in the amount of $4,000.00 in an account I do not have. Time of call, 6:13AM PDT.

Called to verify my debit card and they had my ssn and tried to get me to verify my debit card number however I did not and they also said someone tried to buy plane tickets

I didn’t recognize the number, so I didn’t pick up. There was no one at the other end when my outgoing message finished. Just total silence. The reverse lookup shows this as a Wells Fargo number, but what company would just call and not leave any form of communication. Possibly spoofed.

Indicated my bank accounts were being hacked to the tune of $15,000. I was told to go out and buy $15,000. in gift cards to secure the amounts attempting to be removed from my bank account and give the gift card numbers to the “Microsoft tech†so he could transfer them to my bank.

Not Wells Fargo. Sent me a text saying “100.0†was spent on my card, ending a number I’ve never seen. No money missing. Do not answer them, they are trying to get a response.
