They claimed to be with Verizon and my number was being suspended and tried to get me to talk to someone. I contacted Verizon to verify this information was legitimate. My number is fine and in good standing
Said my acct was suspended
As of today 4/01 this number called two lines belonging to my Verizon account. Asking for information and claiming that my account has been locked. Please look into this number.
Called me from this number in late Feb saying that it was Verizon. They got my account information. At the end of the call, I received a text message confirming that I made a change to my account and replied “yesâ€, believing it was simply the changes that the representative was discussing. They had changed my email address to an AOL account and my mailing address to a local Courtyard Marriott hotel. Ordered an iPhone off my account and shipped it to the Marriott hotel. Somehow, the package (in my name) was signed for picked up and received at the Marriott. I didn’t notice until I was billed for the iPhone. Very scary indeed.
Claimed to be Verizon but was a scammer trying to get my SS
They tell you that something is wrong with your cellphone service, that your account has been suspended. This number is a scam, just trying to get personal information.
my wife received a call from this number and they tried to get info about her cell phone account. She was able to immediately contact her carrier and change her info. I thought I should report it. Yes
