This number was provided on an official looking text that appeared to originate from Verizon via their standard number of 899000. We're still confirming with Verizon via their officially listed number, but from some searching online, this appears to be a common scam that uses this fake number to pretend to be Verizon support and extract your personal information, such as the PIN for your account.
