This is not social security office!!
this a valid SSA phone # out of Wilkes Barre, PA.... it is a large SSA processing center, they will call you to correct or **sist with pending forms whether you are in California or Texas...….we have been taught that SSA does not call you.....you must call them..... this is one of the exceptions folks...……...if you type into your search engine "is 1-800-775-7802 a Social Security phone number" your computer should bring up the SSA.GOV site with the above number attached and by clicking on it will take you right to that particular page on their web site.....this not a scam
Receiving unwanted or harrassing calls from (800) 775-7802? Report It! You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective. If there is something requiring an immediate attention, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
