Caller claimed to be a representative of Wells Fargo fraud dept. calling about a suspicious $2,000 Zelle transaction, alledgedly sent from my Wells Fargo account. I was very careful not to give any information other than my name. He wanted me to check my accounts online and give him the balance, but he was unable to give me the last four digits of the account that the Zelle was alledgedly sent from. I asked for a Wells Fargo phone number that I could call back to and he said that since it's Sunday, there wouldn't be anyone available to take my call.
