I called (786) 807-7862 in response to a message that was left stating, "I'm following up regarding your eligibility for a Student Loan Forgiveness program. Your application is incomplete and needs to be submitted before the end of the forbearance deadline..." The phone answering machine has a male recorded voice that sounds very similar to an official company... I did not give them any personally identifying information. Then, I called Federal Student Loans and they verified that this number was a scam.
