A person claiming to be an attorney called from this number claiming they sold my timeshare and need certified checks sent to a place in Texas. The timeshare company says he is not affiliated with them, nor the attorney. My bank said that someone claiming to need certified checks overnighted is usually a scammer. My personal banker said he didn’t want to do this. I then contacted the the actual attorneys working on my timeshare release said they also said no affiliation
