A woman called me from this number stating that she was a representative from Medicare and asked me if I had Medicare or Medicaid. She told me that I may qualify for more benefits for Medicare.This person had my name and number.This person stated that they were calling from Florida and that where she was it was 90 degrees out there.She said I’m going to put you on hold and transfer you to the benefits department to see if I qualify for more benefits.This person said , I’ll stay on the line with you.I was put on a brief hold and a man came on that’s when I hung up my phone.I tried to call this number back but keep getting a busy signal.I checked this number to find that it’s based some where in M**sachusetts not in Florida.This is some kind of fraudulent activity going on with this number.What bothers me this person has my name and phone number.This matter needs to be looked into .
