a lady called who spoke very bad English saying I was getting audited for the years 2012-2016 and that I was beeing sued by the irs for miscalculations on my taxes. She left a voicemail and case number and said to call back as soon as possible. I tried to call several times and got a fast busy signal and kept getting cut off. I finally got through and I asked her what to do and she told me she would check my case file and get back to me. She never called back. That was 15 days ago....IRS should contact you by mail as well. Never give anyone any information over the phone.
