This is a scam phone number from a Tom White Investigator from the IRS Said there is a warrant (s) for arrest this came in a business line. It was a recording saying to call back. If you do not pay will go to jail.

Got what seemed to be a computer generated voice of a supposed "Tom White" of the investigation department of the International Revenue Department. Wanted us to call them to avoid them tracking us down to our local police department. Trying scare tactics to scam us.

A voice message from this number demanded that I call back as there was a warrant for my arrest. I called the number as I don't know what could possibly cause my arrest. I was told that I defrauded IRS and a warrant for my arrest will be served me in 4 hours. My tax returns from 2010 - 2015 was randomly selected for audit. They will put a lien on my properties, freeze all my **sets and I will be in jail and made to pay fines up to 5K. I pointed out that IRS audited my 2011, 2012 returns and made me pay back $10,000. Why am I been audited the second time for the same years? I demanded to know why I was not notified that I defrauded IRS. The lady said a courier letter was sent to my house but no one was home. I argued that there would have been a notice someone is attempting to deliver a letter that I needed to acknowledge receipt. She had no good answer for that and then she asked if I wanted to pay what I owed? "Ma'am, would you like to settle?" I requested to speak to a supervisor, she claimed to be the supervisor. I requested for someone higher than her. The line suddenly went busy. This is a lady with Hispanic accent.

Recvd this call today. Called back (blocked my number first). Call was answered by someone with a foreign accent stating I had reached the Investigative Unit of the IRS. I told them to quit telling people they were the IRS when they weren't. Then hung up on them.

The robot in the message claimed the local "Cops" were going to take me into custody. LOL, what professional business call them cops? "Police officers" or maybe the "local authorities". Nice try. I called them back a few times on another phone to see how they like being scammed. I encourage everyone to do the same.

This number is making fraudulent calls to cell phones claiming to be from the "filings investigation team" of the IRS and threatening the owner of the number with arrest and incarceration for tax fraud. The grammar in the message is deplorable and poorly worded but uses enough scare tactic to cause an unwary recipient to call the number suggested in the message. It is a fake. Do not make the call!

Was not my name and I said you have the wrong person and phone number and he hung up. Be Careful there were alot of people in the background talking, He was foreign.
